Life After Graduation, LLC is the leading independent publishing company focused on college transition issues. In 1999, Terry Arndt, the President and Founder of Life After Graduation, started the company in response to the clear need for various resources, tools and information that would ensure academic, financial and career success for college students and recent graduates.

Twelve years later, Life After Graduation has worked with more than 600 colleges, employers, and education-based organizations.  Their publications have been read and utilized by more than one hundred thousand college students and recent graduates across the country.  And with the addition of its free newsletter, Life After Graduation has reached an even larger audience.

The key to Life After Graduation’s success is the company’s focus on producing the highest quality products available.  To do this, we incorporate the best research and use the best resources on college transition issues available, including college educators, students, career professionals, recent graduates, recruiters, and industry professionals.

Helping students achieve academic, financial and career success is our company’s mission.  However, we cannot do this without our customers. That is why we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations with everything we do.

President & Founder

Terry Arndt started Life After Graduation, LLC with John Ricchini in 1999. The concept for the business was created while Terry and John were attending the University of Florida MBA Entrepreneurship program. They developed a business plan for a company that would provide graduating students the essential financial foundation in which to begin their life after graduation. After competing in the programs Business Plan of the Year competition, Terry and John decided to pursue the business. After graduation, Life After Graduation, LLC was founded and their first publication, Life After Graduation, was released.

The business expanded their publications over the next few years with the introduction of a first-year student orientation guide, Life During College, and career success guide, Backpack to Briefcase, based on feedback from their clients.

In 2005, John sold his interests in the business to Terry in order to pursue a career in the health industry. Terry continued to expand the business with the help of his team, listed below.

Terry’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University and a Masters of Business degree from the University of Florida. Terry is also a huge fan of bacon. Terry often describes the cured salted meat as - “Bacon is like meat candy."

One of the priorities in the life of a graphic designer is to create useful, educational, fun, memorable, well-designed, and easily accessible media and print materials. This is why Jeanette appreciates the opportunity to work with Life After Graduation, LLC and it’s clients. In addition to her design practice, she has 10 years experience writing curriculum and teaching design for the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo, Washington. While there, she frequently helped college students transition through art college to graduation by introducing them to real projects which lead to potential work experience. She has also raised two children of her own – one currently “transitioning” through college. Jeanette has not been asked by Terry to help him create a “bacon book,” but she knows it’s only a matter of time.
